Products - Agent Manager Agent Manager The Agent Manager is capable of configuring the Agent environment, monitoring Agents, and notifying contacts of status changes. The Agent Manager is comprised of four applications: Configuration of Agents, Contacts, and Events, Monitor, Control Server, and Notification Manager. The Agent Manager resides on a Microsoft Win-32 system, such as Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows 2000. When the Agent Manager is started, the user must first login to the application. The user's Username is associated with a group of privileges. The user groups are Developer, Operations, and End User. The Developer group has the most privileges. Operations can stop and start Agents, but cannot change the configuration. End User group can only view the Agent Manager information. The configuration of Agents, Contacts, and Events is central to the Agent Manager providing timely and meaningful notification of Agent problems.           Previous Next All rights reserved.
